This article publishes the investigation that that has been done on the farmland closes to Huaihua University. The development of early embryo of Pelophylax nigromaculata has been researched. By collecting the 抱对蛙 from the open field, and feed in the lab. The embryo has been breed in the Petri dishes by using fountain water under 18~25℃. Through the change of the shape of the embryo and the characteristics of physical development as the database, we has categorized the growth of the Pelophylax nigromaculata embryo to 26 phases. This significant investigation is done through observations and measurement by using a photographic stereomicroscope. The result is the following: From the zygote to the complete devolopment of the operculum , the whole process used (202.87±5.36)h (n=9);Further details of each phase are being described in the article. Nevertheless, the discussion to the formation and degeneration of the acetabula during the growth of the embryo has also been written in the paper. Furthermore, HuaiHua region has also reported g the similarities and differences among the embryonic development of Pelophylax nigromaculata among other districts.
